About Us
Bill Harris founded Ubiquitous Technologies LLC (Ubiquiteq) with a vision to help shepherd organizations through cycles of disruption and growth.
With over 25 years of experience as a trailblazer and bridge builder, Bill has cultivated a unique skillset to apply to organizations across industries as they struggle to embrace change.
Bill began his career in Business Retirement Planning at Merrill Lynch, and from there led operations for Sylvan Learning Systems' public schools partnerships with Newark (NJ), NYC, Philadelphia, and the Washington, DC public school systems. Bill then joined Baltimore-based tech startups Catalyst IT Services and Advertising.com, where his media buying team led the performance-based online media revolution.
Bill currently serves as the Chief Revenue Officer and Managing Director of Connectiv (fka NextCustomer), which produces events such as InsureTech Connect and HR Transform, and is also a Co-Founder of WeStockUp, an app created to reduce supply chain inefficiencies during the pandemic. Previously, he was a Co-Founder of iControl Systems USA, where he spent 11 years as COO.
Bill graduated cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in economics, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Harvard Radcliffe Club of Maryland. Bill is also a board advisor to Compassion Society Benefits, an insurtech startup in New Orleans, and holds a leadership role in the Fine Arts Boosters club of Oakland Mills High School.
A peacemaker and social justice advocate, Bill is a past president of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbia, and a key supporter of AWAKE Ministries. A gifted public speaker, Bill has addressed numerous local audiences as a part of People Acting Together in Howard (PATH), a local chapter of the Industrial Areas Foundation (IAF).
Bill is an elected member and Chair of the Columbia Association (CA) Golf Committee, and won 6 straight club championships (2013-2018) at Fairway Hills golf course. A member of the Leadership Howard Premier Class of 2017, he serves in an ongoing alumni role as a class representative.
Bill is married to his high school sweetheart and is the father of two extraordinary young adult daughters.
